Functional description and benefits
Rotary valves are typically implemented for the material intake in pneumatic conveying systems or for dosing processes (e.g. bag filling). Its modular design allows for various different configurations of rotary valves.
The material enters into the rotor-chambers and is then discharged, or fed into the pneumatic conveying line by the turning rotor, hence “locking “ the air out.
The product volume being processed depends on the valve size, rotating speed and filling ratio.
